Aloo tikki is a versatile and popular potato preparation, that can be had as it is, or as part of a gravy or a chaat preparation. Cut the tikkis into different shapes using cookie cutters, to make them look more interesting.!
4 medium potateos , peeled and boiled
1/2 cup boiled green peas
1 tbsp chopped corriender leaves
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
salt to taste
2 tbsp oil to fry the tikkis
1. Put potateos and peas in a mixing bowl & mash well till no lumps remain
2.Add corriender leaves,chilli powder,chaat masala, lemon juice , salt and mix well
3. Divide into 8 portions and roll it into round patties.
4.Cut out shapes using cookie cutter.
5. Heat the oil , in a frying pan & shallow fry all the tikkis on both the sides till golden brown.
6.Put in serving plate and serve hot with ketchup.
