Gulkand Peda.

Gulkand peda is very delicious and tempting Indian sweet recipe. It has a very yummy taste or Gulkand which makes you refreshing. You can anytime make this sweet at home.


  • 500 gm soft khoya
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 2 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoon Gulkand
  • 6-4 almonds
  • 1 teaspoon pista
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom seeds, semi crushed.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Method :Step 1: On a LOW flame, heat the heavy pan and add Gulkand to it. Stir it properly so the soft lumps will not remain.Step 2: Now, remove the pan from the flame and keep it aside to cool.Step 3: With the help of grater, grate the khoya and add powdered sugar to it and mix them well.Step 4: In a non-sticky pan, add the mixture and heat it over a HIGH flame for 2-3 minutes.Step 5: After that, reduce the heat and keep stirring the mixture continuously.Step 6: When the mixture becomes thick, remove it from the heat. Then add cardamom powder to it and mix them well.Step 7: Allow it to cool and keep stirring occasionally.

    Step 8: Now, take a small part of the mixture into your palm and flatten it. Then place a small amount of Gulkand mixture to it and flattened the piece.

    Step 9: Now, again roll it so the Gulkand is completely covered into the mixture and slightly press it.

    Step 10: Repeat the process with remaining mixture to make rolls.

    Step 11: Garnish the rolls with almonds, pista and cardamom seeds.

    Step 12: Gulkand Peda is ready to serve.
